Thank You

Hey jammers! I know it's been a while since I posted on here, and it will probably be a while before I post on here again... but I want to take a moment to thank each and every one of you for the support you have given me through taking the time to view and enjoy this blog. Whether you have been reading this blog since it was created or you are just seeing it for the first time, your kind thoughts regarding the content on this blog have been noticed and have supported me greatly during the past 4 years (has it seriously been that long since I created this?!).

In fact, my experiences on Animal Jam and with this blog have affected my life outside of Animal Jam in ways that I can hardly even describe, and about a month ago, I realized that writing about my experiences had become a favorite hobby of mine. Over the past couple of months, I have often found myself writing on whatever piece of loose leaf paper I can find about whatever happens to be on my mind at that moment, and writing these passages has certainly been a relaxing muse for me.

Furthermore, some of the experiences that I have had in real life lately have reminded me a lot of some of my experiences on Animal Jam. Near the end of my experiences in Jamaa, several of my Animal Jam friends and I worked together to establish exciting games for the Gggal Company (a mock business that we created and was named after my friend gggal). Two years later, I am in the process of establishing cool workshops for an Aerospace Engineering festival for elementary school students in our area (I am really looking forward to it!). I was also the deputy of Dragon Clan, a group on Animal Jam that a few friends that I know in real life and I led together; I am now the president of the Aerospace club at my school. Not only that, but the compliments on my writing that I have received from people that I know in real life are comparable to the support that you guys have been giving for this blog all of these years.

Last but certainly not least, I met so many awesome people on Animal Jam who supported me greatly during my time on there, and I now have several equally awesome friends in real life. Both groups of friends are, in many ways, my family, and I can't emphasize enough how grateful I am that they are a part of my life. <3

A couple of weeks ago, I learned that two of my younger cousins now play Animal Jam (this is a part of where my motivation for writing this post came from). I logged on there for a few minutes to hang out with them for a bit, and I became so nostalgic for the days during which I was active on AJ as I looked around at the multitude of updates on the site and as I told my cousins about some of my experiences on AJ. It really is amazing that so many things can happen in just a few months.

Long story short, I have noticed that the personality that I developed through my experiences with blogging and AJ has gradually blended with how I act and perceive things in real life, and both these personality changes and my growth in maturity have had an extremely positive effect on my life.

Should "Galaxies" By Owl City Remain a Part of the AJ Galaxy?

Hey jammers! You guys are probably like "OMG YAY WOLFSTAR IS POSTING AGAIN!!! :D" However, I won't be able to post after Spring Break concludes due to the fact that I actually have even more work this year than I did last year.

However, I do have one concern to address. Since this blog began its journey, the song "Galaxies" by Owl City has served as an integral part of the Animal Jam Galaxy and of my story on Animal Jam, for the song (minus the religious segments of it) suits the blog quite well. In the past, I ignored the more religious aspects of this song and continued my journey in Jamaa as if this element did not exist. However, I realized today that some people who may not be religious may be offended by this song. As a result, I am not sure of whether or not this song should remain a part of this blog. A few of my friends have said that they loved this song, but I don't want to offend anyone who identifies with other religions or doesn't practice a religion at all.

What do you guys think? Should "Galaxies" by Owl City stay on this blog or should it be ejected into outer space? Let me know in the comments below!

If you guys do vote to remove this song, "Shooting Star" by Owl City will probably become the new theme song for this blog (you can listen to it at the bottom of this page).

Update: After much consideration, I have decided to remove "Galaxies" from this blog in order to maintain this blog's high tolerance for any religious beliefs the viewers of this blog may have. I am truly sorry if my decision to remove "Galaxies" from this blog upsets you. Thankfully, both YouTube and soundcloud are sites that allow you to look up "Galaxies" and play it on a separate webpage while viewing this blog. I hope this helps!

Music Updates + Drifting Tides

Hey jammers! I decided to add a few songs to the bottom of this song in addition to "Galaxies" by Owl City that you may like. Scroll down to the bottom of this blog if you want to listen to them!

Also, I've been looking back at some of the memories I made during my time in Jamaa, and I realized that the story that MoonWolfa and I created titled Drifting Tides (with Faolan, Violet, and crew) was never completed! In fact, the only parts of this story that were written were the introduction and an event that takes place near the end of the story (erm... spoiler alert). Because I really like this story, I may write a completed version of it in a future post...

We Both Changed...

Hey Jammers! Today I was just hanging out in Jamaa for the first time since... ok, let's face it; it's been forever since I logged on to this site. As a result, I got to feast myself to a gazillion changes that took place since I left in March. I will post just a few of those changes on this blog.

For one thing, the number of adventures that exist in Jamaa has multiplied like wildfire. In addition, I had a feeling that AJHQ (Animal Jam Headquarters) would use this beach area to expand upon their adventures.

What I DIDN'T know was that this "expansion" would be the arrival of underwater adventures! How cool is that!

Here are pictures of the entrances to the ocean adventures that were released.

Also, see that cave that pops up when you first enter the ocean adventures?

It actually leads to Bahari Bay. :)

There are also a few new land adventures as well. Be sure to check them out if you haven't already!

By the way, there is this rock pathway just to the left of the entrance to The Hive adventure that leads to this crystal structure that I think is really cool... just putting that out there... :P

In addition, a huge assortment of new items have been released in the Diamond Shop. Here is a picture that includes all the new animals in Jamaa.

The polar bear, otter, hyena, and eagle are now available for purchase in the Diamond Shop!

The fox, lion, owl, monkey, sugar glider, and rhino (the fox, lion, owl, sugar glider, and rhino are new)

The giraffe, hummingbird, cheetah, eagle, and tiger (the giraffe, cheetah, and eagle are new)

Finally, a new row of colors has been added to the array of colors that you can choose from for the colors of your animals!

Sadly, this also means that the Secret Color Glitch that many of us used to love no longer exists (you can read more about this glitch on my Glitch Planet page)... RIP Secret Color Glitch. :(

I also realized that Animal Jam wasn't the only one that changed since I was active on this site a year and a half ago; I changed as well. I feel like my experiences with high school caused me to mature in ways I can't describe, and the lessons I learned since I started high school last year have definitely had an impact on how I interact with people on a day-to-day basis.

In spite of this, I was extraordinarily happy to find two of my old Animal Jam friends, coolchico and Feelers, on this site, and I hung out with them some while I checked out all the new updates on this game. I miss you guys!

Music and Banner Update

Hey jammers! As you may have noticed, the music didn't automatically start playing when you accessed this blog. That's because I searched up the song that I display on this blog, Galaxies by Owl City, on soundcloud.com again in order to change the settings so that it would not play automatically (I have heard that this can be quite annoying to people visiting my blog). However, SoundCloud seems to have made quite a few changes to the way you can embed songs since I last shared a song from there, and I cannot remove the multitude of comments displayed throughout the song. I am really sorry about the inconvenience. If you want to listen to this song, scroll down to the bottom of this blog and click the white arrow in the purple circle next to the word "Galaxies."

Since I am a non-member on Animal Jam now (and therefore can no longer play as Eternal Clevermoon) and hardly ever get on there anymore anyway, I decided to update my banner in honor of my favorite quote that I was first exposed to during my 6th grade year. Also, I feel that this banner reveals my personality not just through the fonts of the text and the colors of the text and border but also through the image displayed in the background of the banner (it is my favorite banner so far).

Quitting

Hey jammers! You guys probably saw this coming, but I'm officially quitting Animal Jam. For the longest time I thought I would end up quitting this game because of the endless drama that used to exist on this site, but in the end, I quit because I just can't keep playing AJ and keep up with my extracurricular activities and my advanced classes (I plan on taking 3 college-level, also known as AP, classes next year, and it's not uncommon for me to stay up until midnight doing homework during the week). I'm also expected to do quite a bit of community service over the next 3 years in order to stand a chance as far as applying for college is concerned.

I'm really sorry that I have not been able to take some time to hang out with you guys; I would love to continue to hang out with you guys and update this blog as often as I used to, but my life is just too packed with responsibilities to take the time to log on to this game to visit my online friends.

I guess it doesn't help any that I've sort of outgrown AJ since I started playing this game almost 3 years ago.

Nevertheless, I will never forget all of the amazing memories I made with my awesome AJ friends. I thank all of you for your support during my roughest times and just for being as enthusiastic and heart-warming as you are. I miss you guys very much, but I must go.

This blog will always be up for you to view in honor of all of the amazing (and not-so-amazing) memories I made during the 2 and a half years that I spent in Jamaa.

I truly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you during my time in Jamaa, and with this statement, I will wrap up this post and my Animal Jam journey. I hope everyone has a jam-tastic day and rest of their experience in Jamaa!

Missing Animal Jam

Hey guys! I was just doing a few things on this computer, and I decided to look up my Animal Jam username on Google Images. Before I knew it, I found myself face-to-face with this list of amazing list of compliments I received over a year ago. I have to say, these comments made me really miss all of the fun memories I made on this awesome game!

 

While I'm posting this, I might as well post about the new updates in Jamaa as well. :D

That's right jammers; you can now transform into your very own pets! All you have to do is attend the new and seemingly epic Play-As-Your-Pet-Party! The awesomeness that will chill you to the bone (otherwise known as the Ice Armor) is now available in the Diamond Shop... and is that a deer I see off to the side of this edition of the Jamaa Journal? I believe so! Deer are coming to the awesome world of Jamaa! Will this animal be able to be purchased using gems or will diamonds be required for this graceful animal? Hopefully the first purchase option will be used!

Also, the Jamaalidays will be returning to Jamaa on December 1st! Can you believe it?! I certainly can't!

Be sure to log on to Animal Jam to experience these updates as well as all of the other epic memories that can be made in Jamaa!

I notice that quite a few of my awesome Animal Jam friends are online right now... :)

RIM: Scary Bat Wings!

You read the title right jammers! This week, the extremely famous non-member bat wings that have been in extremely high demand for almost 3 years now have returned to Animal Jam for Rare Item Monday!!! Check it out! :D

I'm also really excited about tomorrow, for I will have enough diamonds tomorrow to purchase my very own snow leopard from the Diamond Shop! Yay! :D

OH MY GOSH O_O

Hey jammers! Those of you who have viewed this blog for a while and/or have visited my Scammers and Mean Jammers page (DragonWolf70, you're probably going to know exactly who I'm talking about!) may have heard of Abby099, the first scammer/mean jammer I encountered after I created this blog. Way back in December 2011, this scammer attempted to borrow my clover blanket "for a second" while I was strolling through Jamaa Township.

Today, warriorcatz2, dragonrider12319, and I were planning on doing an adventure together when I spotted her in the Adventure Base Camp almost 2 years after the scam attempt.

Wow... hopefully Abby stopped trying to scam people since the last time I encountered her. I seriously didn't even know she still played AJ. O_O
