Hey jammers! Today birdle, gggal, coolchico, and I partied in gggal's den, and at one point, we all told summer horror stories. I was the last one to tell a horror story, and unfortunately, everyone else left before I could finish telling my story. :( Because of this, I decided to post the story I came up with on this blog. Here it is (I'm not trying to give anyone nightmares here...)! :D
The Horrors of Mr. Hemler
A widely feared beast arrived at a peaceful creek every June 30. This horrid monster brought tremors to everyone who lived near this creek, for nobody who dared to bike near the creek on June 30 returned to his or her home alive. The residents of the town nearest this mysterious creek granted the beast with the name of Mr. Hemler. No alive person could recall the mysterious creature's appearance, for the monster swallowed every person who caught sight of him before those people could spread the story of their tremors while encountering the peculiar, savage horror in person. One year, a teenage girl defiantly resisted this danger, for she viewed the terror as a carefree myth spread to frighten girls her age. When her parents turned their backs on her, the mouse stealthily crept towards the nearest door, cracked it open cautiously, slipped outside without uttering a peep, and sprinted to the bicycle she had grown to love.
The bicycle, carrying the inexperienced girl on its back, accelerated to the serene creek near the village without a single hesitation. Once the girl arrived at the stream, she baffled at her parents for warning her of a danger that did not exist, and she soared through the rolling hills surrounding the gently flowing water below with pleasure. Suddenly, an icy hand grasped the girl's right shoulder and gradually pulled her towards the hill descending next to her. Before the girl realized what had happened, she tumbled down the hill with her bicycle close by. Once the girl, trembling at this point, landed at the bottom of the seemingly endless slope, she hesitantly looked up to discover a smoky creature who created the illusion that he wore a cloak as black as night around his concealed head. The monster's body crippled itself in certainly painful positions that implied that a ginormous boulder had smashed his body in a thousand different ways. The girl looked through the spot where a person's face normally would have placed itself to spot two demonic eyes, hungry for human flesh.
The girl let out a strangled rattle through the wilderness in which the creek flowed through, but nobody could hear her. Even though the sun shone brightly up ahead, nobody else would have dared to enter the woods on June 30. The girl bolted back to her house as swiftly as her body allowed her to, but even the fastest sprinter could not outrun the devious Mr. Hemler. Before anyone could learn what happened to the girl, the devil swooped in front of her and edged nearer to the quivering girl, and his amber eyes seared the girl's flesh. Establishing an escape plan proved impossible; whatever direction the girl decided to race in, Mr. Hemler forced her to retrace her steps. Pinned to the ground, the girl could distinguish an isolated rose standing boldly beyond the demon's malicious eyes. The girl screamed a final time, and the world transformed into an eerie darkness.
Like I said, I'm not trying to give anyone nightmares; I just want to entertain those who wish to hear a horror story.
That's all for now jammers, and have a jam-tastic day! :D
